Clear caramel colour, dissipating white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, leaves and nuts. Caramel flavour, quite sweet, malt and leaves. Bit thin. Finish chocolate, cheap chocolate (koetjesreep) and caramel. Once again it turns out I’m not a big fan of Brown Ales.
(From 50cL bottle @ weekly tasting, Benzai’s place. Shared by joes, thanks!)

Bottle @ Benzai thx to joes. Brown colour with no head. Smells herb, sweet.. there isn’t a lot of smell though. Tastes sweet, caramel and some herbs. Not my type of beer. Thin body, soft carbo.

Bottle shared by Joes @ weekly tasting. Clear dark amber to dark red color, small off - white head. Smell and taste malts, leaves, slightly butter, slightly bitter. Maybe something herbal or spicy I don’t know. Nothing offending but weird for sure. Average body, medium carbonation.

500ml bottle, kindly shared by Elisabeth. Off-white head leaving spotty lacing behind. Clear amber coloured body. Leafy hops mixed with caramel malts on the nose. Blended taste of caramel, forest fruits and wood. Dry bittersweet ending. Medium bodied. Decent brown ale (at a tasting session in Tromsø 03.06.2013).

Bottle. Pours clear amber/tea with airy off-white head. Faint aroma of malt and not much else. Slightly bitter of malt with irregular sweet notes of something roasted. Dry finish. Quite unbalanced, but not bad as such.

50cl bottle. Pours a bright honey with a nice foamy head. The nose has resin, perhaps honey. The taste has a bitter unripe nut thing, then honey around it. The palate is medium bodied with a similar texture and a finish that is a little cloying, though it does grow. Interesting, but slightly imbalanced.
