Bottle. Dark, reddish brown body, with a small, tan to beige head. Burnt/roasted malt, some fruits and a slight sourness in the aroma. Slightly sour flavor as well, not bad though, and roasted, with a note of coffee and chocolate, leading to a dry, roasted finish. Medium body. I’m not sure wheter the sour note is intended, but hey, finally a drinkable beer from Samsø. (070704)

(Bottle 50 cl) Dark, clear, mahogany with a reddish hue and a beige head. Burned vanilla aroma with some vanilla. Medium body with lightly sweet, roasted malt with a vague, burned edge. Weak bitterness from the malts. A fairly decent light porter. 080107
