We often get told by fans of our beers that the key element that sets us aside to breweries we’re lucky enough to consider our contemporaries is that we retain a good element of bitterness and bite to our beers – not tipping into that pool of overly cloying and tropical; always keeping everything reeled in and balanced.

We’ve embraced this on Smooth Groove – a hearty whirlpool addition of Amarillo brings the old school resin and bitterness, before a nuanced, delicate addition of Polly’s favourites Bru-1, Citra, Mosaic and El Dorado bring the new school tropical explosion of flavour that we’re so well renowned for.
