Pale amber with a small white head. Aroma of herbal hops, a hint of malt and caramel and maybe a touch metal. Sweet malty flavour, with just a little hops and too much alcohol for the strength.

Bottle. A clear, slightly dark golden beer with a small, white head. The aroma has a blend of caramel maltyness and fruity hops, but too subdued and not very Christmas-like. Some notes of alcohol too. The flavor follows the same path, with a metallic twist, like the hops though, but the general impression of the flavor isn’t good enough to lift it. Full to medium body, with a pleasant carbonation. Pleasantly bitter finish with malty sweetness and a little metal. A quite dry one, but far from my first choice for Christmas or any other occasion. Definately not bad though, just boring and uninspired. (090320)
