330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Fawn-coloured head slowly declining over a near-black body, crocheted lacing. Quite promising on the nose, roasted earthy chocolate malts, mid-sweet. Malt-driven taste of cocoa and chocolate with additional notes of nuts and earth. Smoothly roasted bittersweet ending. Quite easy to drink. Decent Sunday sipper, not much going on though. Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Lots of cocoa upfront, powdery chocolate, dark malt, some roast. Milk chocolate throughout. Medium sweet with a mild bitterness. Not really picking up the truffles.

33cl bought at the brewery. Pours close to black with a moderate, tanned head. Roasty aroma with notes of chocolate, malt, dried dark fruits and mild foresty notes as well. Medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and ditto bitterness. Quite drinkable.
