MBCC. Black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffe and licorice. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. Oily. 240525

Near clear deep brown beer, decent bubbly tan head. Smooth palate, airy, a very mild dryness and late emerging good fine minerally carbonation. Surprisingly sweet this stout, sweet for something infused with truffles anyway. Soft dark malt cream and decent creamy dark chocolate. The truffles really only come through on the back end and really only in mild way. A modest savoury aspect and a whisper of something mushroomy. Closes out with some dark fruity dark malts. Nice Impy, think a bit more bravado with the truffles would make a more unique Impy.
