A captivating imperial stout brewed with a generous helping of truffles.

Taste: The initial taste is on the drier side with a hint of cocoa. The mid-palate introduces a milky chocolate sweetness, while the finish reveals the characteristic nutty and umami flavors of truffle.

Appearance: Dark brown beer with a small but long-lasting brown head.

Nose: Full-bodied and chocolaty, with roasted coffee and cocoa notes. The specific aroma of truffle is initially subtle but ultimately ties all the other scents into a pleasant bouquet.

Malts: Pilsner, Munich light, Golden naked oats, Caramel 150, Fermented rye malt, Carafa special T-3

Hops: Vic secret

Draught Russet-tan head, small if stable over jet-black beer. Liquorice², charcoal, sweetish and lots of roast. Hint of mint. Much drier than expected, bit mineral, halfway between liquorice and zoute drop. Hints of dark fruit, blueberries, plums. Again something akin to mint. Brown bread(crust), hints at Maillard. Bitter chocolate, guimauves. Viscous, but half as thick as expected. Better carbonated than it... OK, opaque. "Truffle". That is either Tuber Gibbosum/Magnatum or a Belgian cacao-chocolate delicacy. I am sorry, but this beverage doesn't remind me of either (and yes, I had both versions often enough).

On tap at MBCC 2025 (Red session), pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has some cola, soy sauce, and toasted malt. Flavour is very dry, with cola, toasted malt, and earthy malt. Very dry and lacking depth. Underwhelming.
