Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark brown color with orange highlights and a large creamy tan head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was roasty malty and a bit of honey. The flavor was roasty, woody and mildly bitter with a bit of honey and smoke. Medium length finish. Medium body.
