Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark brown color with orange highlights and a large foamy tan head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was roasty malts, wood and a touch of cocoa. The flavor was dryish with roasty malts, smoke, cocoa and a bit of wood. Long finish. Medium body.
