Überraschend spritzig, fruchtig. Ich musste direkt an Witbier denken. Sogar eiskalt noch super aromatisch. Hinten leicht bitter, Orangen, Getreide, toll!

Bottle (stamped 2260123) pour from BevMax, Hamden. Appearance is hazy, pale yellow-orange with lots of snowy floaties, light sparkle, thin cap of white fizzy head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is sweet and tart apple, mild fruity esters, yeast. Taste is sweet fruity esters, wheat, mild sour fruit, yeast. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with slick texture, lively carbonation and crisp, dry finish without much flavor. Overall, nice aroma and flavor--good representatives of the style. Lively carbonation kind of detracts from the experience a bit--better to let it sit a bit. Pretty good.

Tight white effervescent head quickly left a blotchy cover on an unclear, bright golden still body. Orange, yeast & spice aroma - smells like a Tripel. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated over the tongue with dull flat back & cloying aft. Sweet orange, saccharin, chalk, tangy citrus & yeast tastes.

Bottle shared by Dutchdrebus. Clear yellow golden color, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, overripe yellow fruit, sweetish a bit and a bit yeasty. Decent body and carbonation. Ok. 7-3-7-3-13.

Bottle from a branch of Total wine in Sterling, Virginia. Golden in colour and hazy, with moderate carbonation and a large, white, head. Light, floral hops, grainy malts, a hint of candy sugar sweetness, yeasty stone fruits and a lingering, bitter finish. Good.

Always ready to sample a Belgian style. This single bottle was obtained in North Dallas at a Total Wine some weeks ago. Off comes the lid and I pour into my New Belgium snifter. I determine a yellow-into-gold liquid followed by a steadily replenished, finely bubbled, white top. I lift for a smell, promising, yeast, nectarine and a little flowery. A drink follows of course. All in all, I like the nose better. Yellow fruit, grain, slightly sweet and a small bitterness. A subdued tripel in my estimation. Expected more, oh well.

Golden with a white head - Belgian yeast aroma - malt body with a belgian yeast flavour that gives some banana notes - The malt and spicy yeasty flavour goes into the finish - This was good
