Tasty pseudo-Belgian, big bright clove-laced sweetness mixing with grass and banana, a mild yeasty tartness adding a nice background. Gains fruity esters as it warms, then dries up somewhat for the sparkly finish. Easy to drink, easy to drink more.

1 year old bottle from Discount. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a small white head that dissipates pretty quickly. Faint lemon, grain, mustiness and estery pear on the nose. Active carbonation, with a light mouthfeel for the abv. Pear, apple, musty hay, some faint yeast all come alive as it warms. Pink peppercorn and a hint of ginger leaves on the finish. Very nice.

Beer #2 from best friend christmas pack, real smooth with almost no bitterness. Drinkable as hell but nothing really stands out.

355ml bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a small, white head that dissipates to an outer ring, leaving lace. Sweet, fruity aroma of peach, apricot, yeast and spice. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, orange, peach, apricot, yeast, spice and alcohol with a dry, light bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation.

0.355l bottle from Whole Foods Market Tribeca. This is a light cloudy honey-golden one with a small quickly islandy just off-white top. I get some Belgian yeasty thing on the nose next to ripe banana, flour, wheat and lots of red sweet apples. Yeah, the Belgian yeast stick in the taste also. It's light sweet actually, nit much bitterness here. Soft oily on the mouthfeel and the carbonation is a little bit higher than average. Quite tasty i have to say. Malty sweet with that Belgian yeast running the show. Ripe zest and a little bit if banana in the taste also. Hints of the alcohol, but that could just be the Belgian yeast. Quite a pleasant one to nip to here right about now. 20.06.2013

Bright clear gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and has decent fine carbonation. Dry malts. Spice. Banana esters. Bright dried fruits. More spice in the light dry finish. Spicy linger. Wants something else to hold it all together.
