Belgian Ales represent the height of the brewers’ art. Sophisticated brewing techniques, yeast blends, and unique flavoring elements have elevated the beers of Belgium to the status enjoyed by wine in other countries.

PranQster follows in this tradition using a mixed culture of antique yeast strains that produce a floral nose, a full fruity flavor, and a clean finish. Available in 12 oz 4-packs and 750 ml bottles.

(bottle, 35.5cl) Slightly hazy, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Yeasty, delicately sugary malty aroma with spicy and subtle fruity notes. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly biscuity and sugary malty base with yeasty spice, delicately fruity notes and a whiff of caramel; sweet malty and moderately bitter, spicy and slightly alcoholic finish. Not a must. 04.V.15

17th May 2015: on tap at Board and Brew, Laguna Niguel (Orange County, California). Hazy golden pour with a white blanket of foam for a head. Yeasty feel to the brew from the start, even though it was so cold when served I found it inpossible to taste or smell much for the first half of my 16oz’s. Also thought wheat might have been used by the head retention and flavour. Decent enough without setting the world alight.
