Belgian Ales represent the height of the brewers’ art. Sophisticated brewing techniques, yeast blends, and unique flavoring elements have elevated the beers of Belgium to the status enjoyed by wine in other countries.

PranQster follows in this tradition using a mixed culture of antique yeast strains that produce a floral nose, a full fruity flavor, and a clean finish. Available in 12 oz 4-packs and 750 ml bottles.

355ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, yellow-golden colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity aroma has notes of peach, mirabelle, apricot, a sweet-ish sugar powder touch. Taste is initially slightly sweet fruity with reiteration of flavours, later minimally tart, minimally yeasty spicy with a floral touch. Nice, refreshing, easy drinkable, flattering.

Bottle. Cloudy golden beer with a reasonable head. The aroma is citric and yeasty, and the flavour is bitter with lemony citrus and a thick yeasty finish. Overall a reasonable but basic beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear golden orange, small white head. Aromas of light spice, dried fruit, citrus. Not getting much Belgian-ness. Taste is sweet, light spice. Light body, bit thin. Sweet finish. Ok.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes goldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr fruchtig, malzig würzig. Geschmack sehr malzig, würzig, leicht hefig, süß, etwas alkoholisch.

12 oz bottle. Pours a yellow/amber with light head. Light yeasty aroma with notes of bananas, resin, and spice. Flavors are similar with a additional stoned fruit and malty notes. Nice Belgian yeastiness but not overly so. A sessionable Belgian.

The appearance has a hazy orange slightly golden looking colored body with less than a half fingered white foamy head that quickly dies within a half a minute.
The smell has Belgian yeastiness up front with a nice allocation of spices to compliment the aroma.
The taste is spicy yet somewhat sweet and a nice complimentary sort of under-shadowed sort of \"sweet\" tones to give a very nice sort of spicy/sweet/dry aftertaste with a quick dry finish.
The palate has a light to medium body and provides a decent sessionability that could definitely go with its respected food. Carbonation is good for a Belgian Strong Ale.
Overall, I’d have this one again and would absolutely love to put this up with its respected food.
