Belgian Ales represent the height of the brewers’ art. Sophisticated brewing techniques, yeast blends, and unique flavoring elements have elevated the beers of Belgium to the status enjoyed by wine in other countries.

PranQster follows in this tradition using a mixed culture of antique yeast strains that produce a floral nose, a full fruity flavor, and a clean finish. Available in 12 oz 4-packs and 750 ml bottles.

Hazy Yellow, Huge Head, Good Lacing. I have Allergies At The Moment, so I Can’t Really Smell Anything,.Fruity, Sweet, Yeast. Mellow and Easy To Drink, Hides Alcohol Well. I already had a couple of their beers before and they were past their consumption date, skunky. I did not pay attention to maker of this beer before I popped it open. Pleasantly Surprised, this one is OK. Quite Nice. Recommended.

Refrigerated 75 cl brown bottle corked and capped. Poured into a tulip. Pours hazy golden with big fluffy white head which dissapates quickly. Little lacing, medium/light body, medium carbonation, and light malt aroma. Taste is clean citrus, some yeast, and a hint of hops. Pretty good. It tastes more like a belgian ale rather than a strong belgian ale.

Sweet love finding this beer in San Jose. Pours cloudy yellow with foamy head and ok lacing. Aroma has banana, a little citrus and bread yeast to it. Some floral hops as well. Aftertaste has some bitterness. Pretty well done - tastes similar to a Duvel. Bottle.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, 7/10/2011 date stamped on the bottom. Pours hazy golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of big apple, pear, pepper, clove, banana, grape, wheat, earth, and yeast spiciness. Pretty nice aromas with good complexity and decent balance. Taste of big apple, pear, wheat, bread, pepper, earth, grape, clove, and yeast spiciness. Lingering notes of light fruits, wheat, bread, pepper, earth, and yeast spices on the finish for a bit. Nice balance and complexity of flavors; zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a light, smooth, and crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with hardly any warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very good Belgian strong pale ale. Nice complexity and balance of flavors; very smooth and crisp to sip on. Nicely enjoyable offering.

From a 355ml bottle on 13/10/2012. Pours a hazy light golden with a medium head which disappears quickly. Has a light aroma of fruit and Belgian yeast. In the mouth, sweet fruit is most prominent, with subtle but noticeable spicy and yeasty notes. The carbonation is relatively high, which works well with this brew. Belgian ales are not really my fave style, but I did quite enjoy this one. It’s very smooth, pleasant and dangerously easy to down.
