This stout is dark and rich in colour with a mix of chocolate, roast and black malts. Already quite complex in flavour another level is added with a mix of both sweet and sour cherries to provide a subtle cherry background. The use of oatmeal gives the beer an almost velvet like feel as it smoothly slips down. Suitable for Vegans

Cask at Old Bell, Derby A heady combination of malts and cherries in the nose. Pours almost completely black with a small cream head. In the mouth cherries predominate with hints of raspberry and blackcurrant. Also vinegar – but in a good way. At the finish it is cherries again. Nice, but would have been better with less emphasis on the cherries !
