Måske var vi de første, der bryggede denne sjældne øltype? Normalt brygger man stout udelukkende på bygmalt, men Sort Hvede er brygget på godt 50 % hvede. Den er derfor mere rund, blød, og mindre skarp end en "normal" stout. Sort Hvede er helt sin egen!
Den er brygget på mørke malttyper, heriblandt en røgmalt, der giver øllet en fin røget og lakridsagtig smag. Øllet dufter svagt af kaffe og har lette noter af mørk chokolade. Sort Hvede giver en god mundfylde og har et mørkt, cremet skum.

Bottle 0,5ltr: Opaque black brew from Danmark. Pretty sweet with hints of roasted malts, a quite good Wheat Stout with an beige foamy head.

Black color and a a tan head.malty-roasted nose, malty earthy taste. Gestachelt with a sweeter nose. More gentle balance and a sweet-bitter finish

Aus der Flasche 2015-08 getrunken. Wheat Ale? OK für mich ein sehr gut trinkbares wenn nicht sogar süffiges Stout mit deutlichen Schoko und Kaffeenoten. Sehr gelungendes Bier mit recht dichten Aromen, die aber nie aufdringlich wirken.

Bottle. Color: Almost black, pretty dark brown head. Taste: Dark malt, wheat, hints of yeast and chocolate. Combination of sweet and bitter notes. Slightly hints of smoke. Smooth. Medium body and carbonation.

50cl bottle from a trade with Rasmus40, many thanks! Pours almost black with a huge most good lasting tan head. Aroma of sweet malt, chocolate, lacto. Taste of sweet chocolate, toffee, some roasted malt, lacto, good one!

Bottle 0.5l, many thanks to Camons! Almost black colored. AROMA- chocolate, roasted malts, a bit smoky. FLAVOR- neutral, lightly bitter, smooth, chocolate, roasted malts, touch of coffee. Medium bodied.

Tap at Olhus Kopenhavn, Helsinki. Colour is dark brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Grain, coffee, chocolate, hints of smoke?, some fruits, some twisted tartness, hints of hops and burnt malts. OK this is very weird.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - BB 17.05.2016, at Pikkulintu, 20150507) The beer poured almost black. Its head was rather small and almost white. Aroma had chocolate, sweetness and mildly spiciness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, mild spiciness, burnt malts, dark chocolate and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, burnt and bitter.

Very dark brown, thick and frothy grey-ish light tan head... Roasted aroma, sweet and smoky notes. Flavour has licorice notes, coffee and chocolate. Quite dry finish. Interesting.
