Cask @ Stackpole Inn, Stackpole. Clear amber-gold with a head. Has a mild hoppy-sweetness in both its aroma and taste. Session brew.

Pint from cask at The Queen's Vaults, Cardiff. A clear dark reddish pour with a finger of creamy tan head. Aroma is caramel, red berries, red apple, and that oxidizing funk that reminds of appleseed. Not too dry but not sweet either. No carbonation, as expected from cask. Lacking in acidity, so it should always be chilled. Not much bitterness either.

Cask at a pub in Brecon Beacons. It pours clear brown with a thick, creamy white head. The aroma is earthy, brown bread, wood, wet cardboard, leather and toasted nut. The taste is dry, touch of bitterness, earthy, wood, leather, brown bread, grainy and cereal with a drying finish. Lighter end of medium body and fine carbonation. A pretty okish bitter. Good condition helps it along.

Cask @ Pen and Wig, Newport. Reddish brown, clear with a decent head. Very little aroma to speak of: leaves and forest fruits but there honestly isn’t much. Taste is bittersweet with a drier finish. Some nice notes in the taste - reminiscent of black cherries and tobacco - but it isn’t enough to carry the beer. Dull but dependable.

Cask @ HBF’13
Yes, I bought this only since Double Dragon was a good game. And since this was from wales.
Aroma has chlorine, metal and toffee. Perhaps also hints of hops. Flavour is odd with vichy, metal, toffee and nuts. Nothing much, too flat and too much off‐flavours. And too English too.

(Cask at HBF2013) The beer poured brown and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had malts and molasses. Palate was medium bodied and dry with low carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty. A watery bitter.

Cask-conditioned at the Clytha Arms, Gwent 11/05/09. Chestnut coloured with a lacy, off-white head. Big malty, aroma with plenty of red fruit and a hint of spicy caramel. The flavour also began with plenty of sweetness, a hint of sulphur and and a decent bitter finish. Served in excellent condition and good stuff.

Cask @ Horsens beer festival. Slightly hazy reddish golden body with a big off-white head. Aroma is mostly maltish. Flavor is malty, floral hoppy and bitter but sadly to thin body. This beer is watery and not very balanced, short finish. This tasted better from bottle so it might have been something wrong with this particular cask.
