Dark, rich, playful, and refreshing. My Shadow is a Person is a Precarious take on a Belgian-Style Dubbel, brewed with house-made candi syrup using Piloncillo and Jaggery sugars. Layers of dark fruit like raisins, dates, figs, as well as a touch of banana and spice. Palette-filling and satisfying, and once your sip is done, it slips away into the shadows.

Sampled on draft at Amber Ox this beer poured a nut brown color with an orange hue and a large foamy tan head that left good lacing. The aroma was tobacco, wood, malt and a hint of dark fruit. The flavor was bitterish with notes of bread crust, raisin, fig and molasses. Long finish. Medium body.
