Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured an orange brown color with a medium sized foamy beige head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was boozy and earthy with notes of wood and cherry. The flavor was woody, malty a d bready with strong dark fruits and notes of alcohol, earthiness and medicine. Long finish with growing medicine. Moderately full bodied.
