Twins: Arnie and Danny- Only their brewmaster can tell them apart—or can he? Twins, our New England IPA duo, explores the beer community rumor: Would pumping Arnie up with CO2 pressure during fermentation enhance fruity esters? Unlike the movie Twins, we didn’t save the best traits for just one. Both Arnie and Danny are generously hopped with Mosaic, Citra, and BRU-1, crafting two scientific masterpieces. Great on their own, but even better together!

Smell of tropical fruit, some grapefruit. Cloudy yellow colour, white head. Aroma of grapefruit, raw peach, faint tobacco. Lively carbon. Medium bitter, lightly sweet.

(Keg at CoolHead Taproom, 20250211) The beer poured yellow and opaque. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had passion fruit, mango, herbalness and grapefruit. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were passion fruit, herbalness, grapefruit, spiciness, floralness and light bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, floral and bitter. A good fruity brew with thin finish.

Punkkeri. Hazy yellow colour and small white head. Some tropical fruits in the dull nose. Medium-bodied. Mango, apricot fruity flavour. Dryish finish. Tolerable.

Tap at Juova, Helsinki. Colour is Very cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, some tropical fruits, hops and malts. Flat and little bit of boring.
