Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark brown color with a medium sized creamy tan head that left great lacing. The aroma was woody and nutty with a bread crust note. The flavor was malty and woody with bread crust, faint cocoa, caramel and faint dark fruits. Long finish. Medium body. Solid.
