Light Suffolk malts combine with Hereford and Worcester hops to form a quite magnificent ale, strong and rich in flavour yet light in colour, at its best when served cooled.

Bottle 50 cl. Aroma hops, fruit and flower honey. Taste: full, sweet, like nuts with honey, pleasant hop bitterness in finish.

Bottle at Stuu666’s. Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Aromas of floral hops, light booze note. Taste is light sweet, more floral notes. Bitterness builds at the back. Not bad.

Bottle from the St Peter’s brewery. Poured a clear, deep golden colour with a thin, but dense white head. Aroma of Seville oranges, spiced rum and floral hops. Sweet, fruity initial flavours with some gooseberry, golden syrup and cereal. Finish was marmalade, honeycomb and astringently bitter resin.

Trochę za słodkawe to piwo i słodowe. Mała piana i jasnobrązowy kolor. Przy tym stężeniu alkoholu prawie się go nie wyczuwa, a finisz jest zdecydowanie owocowo-rozgrzewający. Posmak słodowy na długi czas pozostaje na podniebieniu

Originally rated August 2004. My third St. Peter’s experience. Poured a clean orange-amber colour with an off-white head. Left a good amount of lacing, but this brew had no visual carbonation. The nose was hoppy, but also very hard to pin-point exactly what it was... maybe hay. Taste was smooth at start and then finished with a bitter aftertaste. Could not taste the 6.5% alcohol, could only feel it in my head (after having a few beers previously). Again, St. Peter’s has a brew that is very special.

500ml bottle. Pours orange with a medium head. Aroma is earthy and skunky hops. Taste is earthy. Skunk and earth in the finish but it works. Full in the mouth.
