Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a black color with a small beige head that faded quickly and left minimal lacing. The aroma was burnt caramel. The flavor was strong burnt caramel and was pretty astringent. Very long finish. Medium bodied and a bit flat. No chocolate at all. Very disappointing.
