Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a flat black color with a medium sized foamy beige head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was brewed coffee with a hint of cream and vanilla. The flavor was artificial vanilla, brewed dough, a bit of doug and was somewhat bitter. Long finish with growing bitterness. Medium body. Disappointing.
