White Wych is a delicious, finely balanced golden ale. A delightful hoppy aroma heralds a bewitching bitterness to soothe away the hot summer thirst, beguiling to the end.

Brown 500ml bottle, Best before Jan 2008, drank in Feb 2007. Tangerine orange body with a small white head which turns to lace very swiftly, on each of the three pours into my Hannan Alt tumbler. The bootle claims it is thriced hopped, well I could hardly smell any, citrusy lemon, floral aroma is all I could find. Not like a true bitter in my opinion, too flowery/lemony for me. It says a blonde beer on the label, well its not a true blonde either. Fizzy beer really, slight retention of citrus flavours, otherwise nothing. Can’t decide if I will try this beer again, I will if I see it in cask form, but not from a bottle.

Bottle. Golden color with a off-white head. Aromas are soft caramel with citrus and hops. Flavours are soft and buttery with a rough bitterness on the finish. Okay for a summer refresher.

Bottle from Sainsburys Kidlington 04-05-06 Jolly decent golden beer, good hoppy taste smooth clean and very drinkable. Nothing fantastically exciting I’ll admit, but a good beer nonetheless.

660ml bottle from Sainsburys. Copper colour, thickish lasting white head. Touch of green apple and earthy almost burnt hops. Palate is almost stale, dusty with biscuity malts. Very hoppy finish but it is not attached to anything
