Amber orange with little white head. Fruity orange & nice hops in the aroma besides of the typical dirty leather wintercoat aroma. Taste is liked smoked malts & ashtray - very not OK. Defenetly infected in more than one way. Not the first time I tried this with wintercoat though!

Bottled. Unclear, copper beer with a beige head. Hoppy and roasted aroma with some yeast and bonfire-sour notes. The flavor starts, and lasts, with roasted malt, but a pleasant fruityness soon joins in. Even some yeasty notes in the background. Thin to medium body and a pleasant finish which is both roasted and hoppy. Another pleasant WinterCoat beer, but not a rave. (061021)

Bottle Dark amber colour, large head. Hoppy aroma with a touch of toffee and smoke. Hoppy and roasty flavour. IMO the carbonation was a bit too sharp.

I had this draft, but lost my rating, so here it goes bottled:
A nut brown beer with a huge light brown head. The aroma is sweet and dominated by hops of American origin, but also with light notes of nuts, fruit, and caramel in the background. The flavor is sweet again with strong hop notes - giving it a great bitterness, but also nutty and flowery notes.

Hazy amber color. Nice aroma, malt, hop (both fresh and old), litchee. Medium body, good malt, dry caramel, very light smokey note. Very good.

Handpumped. Aroma starts off a bit farty, but it turned out OK. Otherwise refreshing grassy aroma. Quite clear copper colour, almost no head. Quite bitter at first. Very aromatic with a refreshing sourness/acidity.

Bottled. Hazy pale amber, creamy head. Aroma of lychee. Sweet and juicy with pleasantly soft mouthfeel. Really hop aromatic, but roasty, lightly smokey malt tones adds complexity. Balanced biterness. With this excellent beer Wintercoat defends their position as one of Scandinavia’s leading microbrewers.
