bottle, traded with MoritzF - thanks! Orange-amber colour, medium-sized head. Fruity nose. Full-bodied with a heavy malty base and some nice fruity flavours (orange, berries), quite spicy overall. There is also a good amount of aromatic and bitter hops present, to balance off the maltyness of the brew. Long finish.

(Draught at Pikkulintu on 2008-01-25) Brown with hints of yellow. Very sweet nose resembling (Finnish) mead. Very lightly hops. The taste is like in mead, too.

(50 cl bottle purchased in Copenhagen) First pour is clear deep golden color with a white head of medium size. Acidic, spicy, alcohol and malty grainy scent. Alcohol sweet taste, turns into evern more alcohol when swallowed. Terrible stuff this is. Smooth mouthfeel. Medium bitterness.

CBF07 sample from tap. Pours orange with little head. Aroma is very strong hoppy. Flavour is sweet, almost raisin like. Very aromatic from the hops but well balanced off with the sweetness from the malts. Finish is soft sweet malty and bitter.

(Draught at Ölbaren, Copenhagen, 18 May) Orange colour with small, brief head. Malty, very sweet nose with notes of gooseberries and apples. Malty, sweet taste with honey, gooseberries, rhubarb and dried fruit. Syrupy texture, definitely too sweet for me.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Cloudy mustard yellow. Sweet pineapple aroma. Sweet and soft, medium bodied. Sugary with some light almondy notes and some pinepple. In the end sugar gets the upper hand.
