Bottle: Almost clear with some floaties, small white layer; sweet, alcoholic nose with a touch of herbal hops and a tinge of yeast; medium to full bodied, sweet flavour; sweet and spicy hoppy finish. Not so good, a bit too much on the sweet side.......

It seems a reasonable (Belgian, Strong) Ale, with a medium-strong body, but both aroma and flavor show a light infection.

2008-03-15, draught at Lord Nelson, 8% ABV, 7-3-7-3-15=35
Cloudy deep blond color. Sweet Ale, strong enough, with a positive yeast job, a bit fruity. Good.

2006-12-09, bottle, 8.5% ABV, 7-4-7-3-15=36
Hazy amber color; thin head. The aroma has some fruitness as well. The taste is sweet, with some malt; full body; light fruitness (from the yeast); the bitterness is not too much. More an English Ale than a Belgian Tripel. Pleasant, because of the sweetness, but a bit homebrewed.

hazy orange colour with white head. Fruity and malty aroma. The it shocks you - incredibly sweet. (Too sweet) I can sense either some leather like or maybe smoke in the finish which is not pleasant at all. An attemp to make something different which is good, but this one didnt pass the test!

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, nice natural white head. Sweet fruits and yeast in aroma, along with alcohol. Flavour is quite the same, but the fruit can be specified as banana. Some alcoholic warmness also in the finish of the flavour. Pleasant and wellbalanced brew.

[Bottled] (BB 12/2006). Hazy orange color, small white head. Aroma has sugar, honey, yeast, leather, earthy notes and banana. Very sweet - too sweet - alcohol kicks quite well, leather flavored malty base. Maybe a bottle to age to cut extra sweetness.

Golden beer. Sweet, but well balanced. Very light and drinkable for such a strong beer.

On tap at Fynske Øldage, Odense, Denmark. Hazy, light golden with a beige head. Sweet aroma with spices. Fruity and sweet flavor with small bitterness overpowered by sweetness in the finish. Too sweet! (051028)

(On tap) Unclear orangey golden with a creamy, yellowish head. Perfumy, sweetish aroma of coriander. Soft and sugary with very fruity notes. Almost no bitterness. Too sweet for me. 281005

Bottle. An unclear dark yellow beer with a huge white head. The aroma is sweet spicy with notes of oranges as well as hints of coriander. The flavor is very sweet with nice fruity notes. Lots of sediments left in bottle.
