Early on a Saturday afternoon I spent some happy hours sampling beers together with Skinnyvinking at this splendid brewpub. 100ml of the Wit brew had got some refreshing acidity of pomecitron and sweet banana flavour. Unclear golden in colour. Thin palate. Served chilled (13.01.2007).

Draught at brewpub (25 cL). Orange juice colour with lasting white head. Sweet and fruity, some yeast too. Refreshing beer, but I assume it would get cloying at more than 25 cL.

(On tap) Hazy golden beer with a small, white head. Aroma of yeast and citrus and a weird off-aroma. Light citrusy flavour, cannot detect any coriander. And again a weird tang also in the flavour. Somewhat unclean. 041005

Tap at NB
Pale green and cloudy, fluffy white head. Yeasty citric nose. Unidimensional citric and yeasty tastenotes as well, a hint of fattyness. Too lightbodied.

Draught
Very pale yellow, a bit hazy, good creamy white head. Wheaty, dry nose. Light, wheaty - sweetness comes in the finish. Caramelly aftertaste. Plain copy of "real" witbiers.

Draught. Clovy, citric, old softener/skyllemiddel aroma. Hint of yoghurt. Unclear yellow colour. Spicy yoghurt flavour, a little watery. Aftertaste like cheap lager. Carbonation is too low (this was poured from a plastic cup into my glass due to problems with the draught system).

Sampled draught at the brewpub. Cloudy pale yellow, no head. Citric nose. Light bodied with clean, rounded mouthfeel. A bit sweet. Short lemony finish with some butter. Flawless, but doesn’t give me any kicks.

Cloudy blond color. Nice hop aroma, citrusy, very much Belgian-like. Fresh and enjoyable, quite dry, equilibrated, with a delicate hopping.
