A deep red beer with a huge light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of brewing mash, nuts, brown sugar, and a faint note of alcohol, as well as a dusty notes of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with a strong caramel presence togehter with a light touch of wood, which in the end turns into a note of brewmash, before a medium bitter and dry end finishes it off.

Bottled. Reddish-brown, sparkling beer with an ok beige head. Aroma is malty with cellar notes. Flavor is mostly slightly roasted malt, too one-dimensional. Sweet, medium to full body. Ok beer, but a little too ordinary. (060224)

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, clear dark amber with a handsome beige coloured head. Rather neutral aroma - perhaps with a wee touch of juniper. Quite a dry body with vague hints of caramel malt. As it warms the juniper become more evident. But overall this beer lacks character and balls. 081105
