Cask, half pint at Teign Cellars. Dotted spots on the glass. Spotty lacing. Bright amber in body colour. Aroma of dried fruits and leafy hope. Taste of earthy malts, leafy hops and caramel. Rounded endnotes with a distant bitter touch. Satisfying (Newton Abbot 27.09.2016).

Cask @ GBBF 2011. Pours a slightly hazy amber orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with weak hoppy hints. Fruity malty caramel flavor with bitter hints. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.

Cask@GBBF2011 (hooray for my handwriting). Ambery golden colour with a small foamy head. Aroma is bready and some slight toasted notes with some mild floral and wooden notes. Flavour is caramel malts, some slight toasted notes as well as some fruity, nutty and mild wooden notes as well. Semibitter finish.

From cask. Pours hazy orange with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and slight breadish. Bitter, dark malty and roasted. Light liqourice like note. Ends bitter and dry malty.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 03/03/10. Clear amber in colour with a slight white head. Aroma of sweet fruits and leafy hops. Flavour had plenty of caramel and sweet fruit with some orange hops leading to a bitter finish. Drinkable.

bottle from a wine shop in Seaton. Red-glowing copper colour, hazy, tiny head. Malty nose. Medium-bodied with a good malt base, hints of caramel, a touch of salt and a rather hoppy and resiny finish. Good.

BCA picked up from the brewery 30-12-06 in a mixed case, and drunk that evening. Amber in colour with sweetish hoppy aroma, whilst this hasn’t impressed me as much as some of their other beers it was still a fine session beer bit sweet but there is some citrusy tang in there.
