Four malts are mixed in the mash tun and deliver a graceful and sleek malty mouthfeel. A burst of delicate citrus and slight spice on the mid-palate, and Progress, which soothes the finish with a soft bitterness, while more malt comes forth to produce a delicious and lingering bittersweet character.

Cask pint @ The Three Fishes, Shrewsbury. Pours clear amber, small white head. Aroma is caramelised malts. Taste is very light and thin, a touch watery with faint sweet malts. A conversation oiler, but that’s about it.

Cask @ A G Bell, Edinburgh 141112
Amber, clear, thin white head, some lacing
Aroma - light pale malts, very little on the nose
Taste - soft sweet pale malts, light hops, light fruits, dull
Palate - thinnish body. Finish - slight soft bitter linger
Overall - Can’t say much about this as it’s dull with not much flavour or aroma. Very average in all aspects

Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading. Pale amber with a thin cream head; biscuity malt aroma; sweet malty taste with a touch of barley sugar; then a watery and indistinct finish. Average and unexciting.

Deep golden colour, some malts evident, but it is the smooth creamy texture produced on the tongue which is the surprise.

Gravity cask at the London Drinker BF. Clearish gold pour with an easy head. Nose holds some sugar and a bit of fruit. Flavor is mildly malty with a decent bitterness to balance. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with mild fruits and bitters. Interesting and decent.

Cask. Golden colour, mediumsized foamy/creamy head that leaves lace. Aroma is sweet and bready malts along with caramel, mild nectar and some grainyness. Flavour is quite much the same. Not that much bitterness.
