Sample at the Grandview Digfest on 06/15/2013: Brown-black pour with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, malt and vanilla. Full-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, roasted coffee, vanilla and earthy yeast. The finish is roasty with a coffee and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.
