Rosa's baby brother, but with certainly no less attitude. Wilt is our second Augment DIPA and is a shining example of where we intend to go with this range. Featuring a hop bill to rival its older sibling with a metric tonne of Azacca, Citra, Ekuanot, Mosaic and Simcoe all added in the dry hop, this beer is all about the high juice, dank notes, and low bitterness throughout. Complimented by a spicy edge, and with that signature Loka Polly yeast blend showcasing its skills to the max, this may well be our greatest creation yet.

Can. Lightly hazy gold beer, decent pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildy dry, reasonable fine minerally carbonation. Sweetish pale malts, some thin creamy sweetness and something that might be diacetyl - a floral sweetness that edges on milky. Light and nibbly hop spice. Mild pine. Decent orange - tangerine, slightly tangy. Smooth and semi dry finish. The bones of a good dipa but that odd twist takes it down a few notches.

Can from Lupe Pintos. Hazy golden body with a thick white head. Low carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of pine, pineapple and honey. Flavour of pineapple and a slightly boozy finish. Medium body with an oily texture. Light fizz. It’s nice but definitely not as good as the brewery’s own description (“this may well be our greatest creation yet.“) For me, better Loka Polly beers include Petal, Rosa and DIPA Citra.

Can from Eltham Wines, Eltham. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Nose is pineapple, mango, dank, orange, papaya. Taste is mango, guava, lots more pineapple, pink grapefruit, sweet citrus, light spice. The mouthfeel is an absolute burst of juicy, sweet fruit. Quite a gullet warmer. Leaves you feeling smug, snug, satisfied and glad you picked one of these up. Top stuff!
