Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a black color with a huge fluffy tan head that lingered and left incredible lacing. The aroma was roasty with gritty espresso and vanilla. The flavor was bitter with strong brewed coffee, roasty malts and gritty espresso. Amazingly long coffee finish. Moderately full bodied. Excellent.
