Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a red-brown color with a medium sized creamy bright white head that left good lacing. The aroma was malty with a touch of wood, moderately strong crystal malt, and piney hops. The flavor was crystal malt, wood and rough piney hops. Medium length finish mostly of crystal malt. Medium body. Meh.
