Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark nut brown color with red-orange highlights and a medium sized foamy orange-white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was toasty and malty with toffee, rye and a hint of fruit. The flavor was bitterish with wood, molasses, rye and a hint of smoke. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.
