Hazy deep amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Malts are mildly tangy and have a thin creamy sweetness. There is a sweet spud vibe in the mid. More of the white sweet spud than the orange variety. Mild floralness and a whisper of marmalade. Light semi dry finish. Hangs together well enough and itβs quite interesting.

A reddish copper ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light maple notes, light floral hops, very nice. In mouth, a sweet caramel malt with light mineral notes, lingering bitterness, light mineral notes, OK. On tap at Coedo Hong Kong.

Sampled from the bottle at ABR 2015. Pours a hazy amber orange with a yellowish tan head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grains and light flora with a bit of sweet potato coming through. Flavor does a great job of combining sweet grains, bread and sweet potato.

On tap at Tokyu Department store event. Deep amber to brown color with a nice soapy beige head. Big aromas of malt, and dark fruit. Like cola on the palate with active carbonation and a medium to full body mouthfeel. Sweet on the palate but not overly cloying. Nice slightly bitter finish. Nice Japanese original beer. --- Beer merged from original tick of Coedo Beniaka on 10 May 2015 at 14:42 - Score: 7

Deep amber color. Smell reminds me of mugicha (barley tea). Very malty mouth with cherries and wood. Lingering sweet finish. Went excellent with what ever spicy food I was eating eight years ago when I had this beer.

333ml bottle. Clear reddish, chestnut colour with small to average, thick, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweetish malty and slightly herbal aroma, cautious and hard to describe in more detail; maybe a touch of treacle, unspecific hints of fruit. Taste is moderately sweet malty, slightly spicy, hints of treacle, a minimally salty touch of soy sauce, unspecific hints of fruit, a minimally roasty dry something or other. Shady, inscrutable.
