Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a very dark brown color with faint orange highlights and a medium sized foamy beige head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was toasty, malty, wheaty and dryish. The flavor was dryish and bitter with toasty malts, wood and bread crust. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok.
