Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a black color with faint orange highlights and a medium sized foamy beige head that left decent lacing. The aroma was roasty with coffee, wood and smoke notes. The flavor was dry, roasty and bitter with a smoky presence and a bit of floral hops. Very long finish. Medium body. Not my style.
