Solstice is a new 5.4% Czech dark lager. You could call it a Tmavé Speciální Pivo. It’s a robust Tmavé — bigger, richer, and darker than a Tmavé Pivo, but with a refined elegance.
Brewed with floor-malted Bohemian Pilsner malt, layers of Carafa Special 2 and 3, and Simpsons’ DRC. Single decocted. Hopped with Czech Saaz. Naturally carbonated.
Solstice is silky and brimming with notes of cacao nib, cola, dark bread crust, and sun-dried coffee.

Light roast, some coffe. Black pour with decent head. Nice muskiness that elevates this beyond your average dunkel. That smoky musk stays with you for a bit. Light bitterness as well in the finish. Tap at brewery.
