Cask @ Old Mill Inn, Brodie.
Very dark brown, lots of ruby light through glass, dense off white head, reasonable lacing.
Aroma of light chocolate..bit of coffee...some fruit..roasted malt.
Taste of roasted malt...fruity..burnt crust...bit of cocoa..woody
Palate - soft carb..thin to medium body. Finish quite dry, fruity with some roasted malt...burnt roast bit charcoal tail, doesn’t linger beyond it’s welcome. I thought this was a good porter. I was told this brew is a one-off.
