Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a black color with a large foamy brown head that lingered and left excellent lacing. The aroma was leafy floral hops with some anise and mint notes. The flavor was bitter and somewhat roasty with fruity and floral hops and touches of anise and mint. Long finish. Medium body. Ok.
