Cask at Brewery Tap, Chester. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a small foamy tan head and good lacing. There’s roasted malts and oats in the aroma. In the mouth it is slightly sweet with plenty of vanilla and roasted malts. Some chocolate and oats too, with hints of liquorice later on. Finish is dry and slightly bitter. This is decent.
