Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours almost black with minimal tan head. There’s malts and biscuits in the aroma, plus some boozy hints. In the mouth it is smooth and sweet with a creamy texture and roasted malts are the prime contributor to flavour, Some alcoholic strength too which gradually increases plus chocolate and hints of fruits. Finish is boozy but not as muh as you might expect. This is nice – it hides it’s strength well,
