Cask at the Little Plough, Doncaster. Pours clear golden with a thick white head. Aromas of light biscuit and trad hops. Taste is more of the same. Clean finish.

Cask at Shrewsbury Arms, Stafford. Pours golden yellow with a small scummy almost white head and good lacing. Malts to the fore in the aroma, together with some generic citrus. In the mouth it is somewhere between slightly sweet and a little bitter with malts and some traditional hops. The bitterness gradually increases and later on there are traces of tangerine and ginger too. It's reasonable but anonymous
