Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours golden yellow with a small almost white head and good lacing. There’s floral hops in the aroma together with hints of malts and honey. In the mouth its starts off slightly bitter but with some underlying sweetness. Flavour has floral hops, oranges and grains. Bitterness increases gradually and later on there are traces of spice and golden syrup leading to a slightly dry finish. This is reasonable, but not particularly memorable.
