On tap at Hops, Crewe. Pours almost black with a small cream head and good lacing. The aroma has roasted malts, honey and coconut. Roast malts again to the fore in the mouth where it is slightly sweet but with some underlying bitterness. There’s also some coconut and hints of spice liquorice and chocolate, leading to a tangy finish. This is a decent beer but somewhat generic.
