Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured thick and black with a medium sized foamy dark brown head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was woody and dryish with an odd raw cookie dough/playdough presence. The flavor was bitter and tart with strong fruity and floral hops and a cookie dough/playdough note. There is an alcohol burn but it is rather subtle and controlled. Long doughy finish. Moderately full bodied. Disappointing.
