The best beer I have had by this brewer. +++ Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a toffee-brown color with a medium sized foamy orange-white head that left good lacing. The aroma was pineapple, coconut, wood, pepper and caramel. The flavor was intensely boozy but in way that worked with pineapple upside down cake, coconut, wood, rum, sweetness - almost honey and toasted caramel with a sour malty presence underneath. Insanely long finish. Full bodied and almost syrupy. Well done.
